Unsung Hero Nominations – Deadline Today

Nominate an Unsung Hero

We are pleased to announce the fifth annual “Unsung Hero Award”
sponsored by the Krieble Foundation that will be presented at this
year’s State Policy Network Annual Meeting in Grand Rapids,
Michigan. The intent of this award is to honor individuals whose
work defines entrepreneurial public policy in the spirit of the
Vernon K. Krieble Foundation’s founder and president, Helen
Krieble. A cash prize of $25,000 and recognition will be given
to the winner at the 2015 SPN Annual Meeting.

Criteria for nomination:
– Nominee is a policy entrepreneur who has not received recognition for
 his or her successful free market (or “liberty-minded”) solution.
– Leadership resulted in a victory that reduced the size or scope of
government and made a difference for freedom.
– The outcomes recognized are transformative and truly innovative.
– The policy victory can serve as inspiration to other freedom
champions and replicated in other areas of the country.
To nominate an “Unsung Hero” you feel fits the criteria above,
please complete the form below.  Alternatively, you can submit
 a one-page recommendation answering the same questions below
 to Sarah Ferrara at ferrara@spn.org. If you have supplementary
materials, such as videos or articles, to accompany your
nomination, please email them to Sarah Ferrara.

The nomination deadline has been extended to July 29.
