Please join us in Washington, DC on September 17th for an important opportunity to raise our voices to the US Senate.
On September 17th at 10:00 AM the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Human Rights will hold a hearing on Stand Your Ground Laws and their impact on public safety and civil rights. The hearing will also examine the role of the gun lobby in the creation of these laws in 26 states.
We need to be there for this conversation. If there is anyway you can attend this hearing in DC, we need you to be there. Please join Million Hoodies in letting the Senate now that these Kill At Will laws make black and brown men the target of violence and make our communities less safe. It’s important that we pack the chamber and let our lawmakers know we want these laws changed.
