8 Libertarians on New York ballot

26 Aug
As of today, six days after we filed almost 5000 signatures to get eight Libertarian candidates on the ballot in New York City, there are no objections on file at the Board of Elections!

Hearty congratulations to each of the candidates and to the many, many volunteers, especially Alton Yee (over 500 sigs!!!) and Gary Popkin (almost 400 sigs!!!), who showed how important it is to get a voice supporting positions other than statism and dependency on the ballot.

Let’s go kick Quinn, Lhota, Spitzer and the rest of them in the butt! Please help our eight New York City Libertarian candidates make a real difference.

Thanks so much for all you have done.

Mark Axinn
Chair, LPNY

PS. As you can guess, petitioning was neither easy or inexpensive. If you are able to help us financially, please make your best contribution to the Manhattan Libertarian Party at www.manhattanlp.org to help offset the expenses already incurred.

Thanks again!

Anthony Weiner: Vote for me and I will set it free!

TheDirty.com promises to release more on #Weinergate today.

Meanwhile the media seems to be paying scant attention to the fact that New York’s can choose to forgo dirty Weiner and instead vote for a clean Sanchez, Michael Sanchez, the Libertarian candidate.

“Fair and balanced” Bill O’Reilly went into the all spin zone last night, posting a graphic with six mayoral candidates including several GOP candidates who have absolutely no chance of being elected, but managed to censor out Libertarian Sanchez.  O’Reilly’s next NYT best seller is called Killing Journalism.  No word yet on whether Bernie Golberg will write an intro.
