I am not a politician and have never been involved in politics; I have no desire to govern people. I understand the fact that I am incapable of controlling the lives of other people by simple virtue of the fact that I’M NOT THEM. I have grown increasingly intolerant over the years of people in government harming individuals by failing to recognize the fact that they neither have the right nor the competence to govern others. Like a fire mindlessly consuming and destroying all property and life in its path, government has an unquenchable appetite for power and money at the expense of its citizens. I intend to do what I can to continue fighting destructive forces and allowing free-born people the chance to continue flourishing by creating value for the world.

Ms. O’Neill, recently retired from the military, is a former resident of the DC metropolitan area; a 1st Lieutenant in the NH Army National Guard, Emily provides small businesses and non-profits with public relations and marketing strategies through her own consulting firm, Silver Key Communications, LLC. In addition to her civilian career, she serves as a public affairs officer for a Field Artillery unit.
She is a New Hampshire native, and was raised in New Boston, the youngest of four daughters. Remaining close with her family, Emily assists her parents with a clothing business.
Education
Emily received her B.A. in Communication with High Honors from the University of New Hampshire (UNH). She earned her commission as an officer from the UNH Army ROTC program and was a Distinguished Military Graduate. While in school, Emily led two student organizations, held various leadership roles within ROTC, and trained one weekend a month with a NH Army National Guard unit.
Early Career and Military Service
Following a media internship with a student organization, Emily worked as a press secretary for a high-profile member of Congress. She then shifted her focus to her military career, completing a three-month long Human Resources Course at Fort Jackson, SC, continuing her service as a human resources officer in the Washington, DC Army National Guard.
In additional to her traditional role as a Guardsman, Emily served on orders to develop strategic plans and created a comprehensive antiterrorism manual for the DC National Guard’s Joint Force Headquarters.
Key Issues: Taxes, Budgeting, and the Economy
As an entrepreneur, Emily understands the importance of government stepping aside, and allowing businesses to thrive on their own. Government red tape and burdensome taxes stifle innovation and growth.
These problematic taxes and regulations are often the consequence of reckless spending. With responsible measures put in place, NH should have what every family is expected to maintain: a sensible, balanced budget.
Emily will never vote to raise taxes nor place senseless restrictions on businesses. She will make every effort to cut spending and ensure that tax dollars are spent appropriately and carefully.

Born in Chicago, Ms. Fox has lived most of her life in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Julie has considered the Fox Valley her home for most of the last 33 years. She has been a resident of Dundee for 14 of the last 16 years, and currently resides in West Dundee.
Fox has grown up in a tight-knit family of mostly Irish descent, which settled in the Chicago area in the late 1800s. She is one of eight siblings. She is the mother of two grown children and aunt to seven nieces and nephews. Most of her family remains in the Chicago land area.
Julie received a B.S. with Distinction in Biochemistry from the University of IL Champaign-Urbana in 1980. She received a B.S. with Honors in Biology from the University of IL Chicago in 1981. Fox began work in the field of accounting in 1987. She passed the CPA exam in 1995.
In addition to her academic work, Fox has also been involved in athletics. She received the Avery Brundage Athletic Scholarship in 1980, and was 1979 Illinois Collegiate Powerlifting Champion in her weight division.
Fox has been employed as Controller for U.S. operations of Bell Flavors and Fragrances, Inc. since 1998. Bell Flavors and Fragrances is a family-owned international chemical manufacturing company headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois. Prior to her position at Bell Flavors and Fragrances, Fox served as Accounting Manager at Arthur Machinery, Inc.
Julie’s involvement in politics began in 1993, when she first discovered and joined the Libertarian Party at both the state and national levels. She and fellow Libertarian activist Ken Prazak co-founded the Fox Valley Libertarian Party in 1995, which she currently serves as Chair of. Fox was Co-founder, President and Treasurer of the Coalition for Accountability in Public Education (CAPE) from 1997 to 1999, during which time the group defeated four school tax referenda in 18 months in the eighth largest school district (D300) in Illinois.
Fox was elected to the Dundee Township Library District Board in 2001, and re-elected in 2005. She served as Treasurer of the board from 2003 to 2005. Fox is past Treasurer of the Libertarian Party of Illinois and has also served as Treasurer for Libertarian campaigns in both Illinois and Wisconsin over the last ten years. She served as a regional representative on the Libertarian National Committee from 2006 to 2010, and as a member of their Audit Committee from 2008-2012.
Julie currently serves as Chair of the Fox Valley Libertarian Party and is a member of the Libertarian Party of Illinois’ Communications Committee.

I am the educated choice for State Comptroller, being the only Certified Public Accountant – in fact, the only accountant at all! – running for the office of head accountant for the State of Illinois. I enjoy growing organic vegetables, collecting eggs from my chickens, hiking, shooting, fishing, camping, riding my horse, floating the river, and watching the antelope, deer and any other critters that like to hang out on my property and most other things that we Montanans like to do.

I am not a politician and have not run for the legislature or any other office in the past, but I know that I would represent all Montanans to the best of my ability and fight for the issues that concern them most.

I’m a Libertarian. I believe in limited government, less government intervention, individual freedom and moral Responsibility. I oppose the initiation of the use of coercion by anyone upon the person or property of anyone else for any reason.
Libertarians advocate for extremely small (limited) government, which would allow the individual to be free of government intrusion in their life and their wallet.
I support the rational principle of the individual human rights of life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness.
I do not believe that government has the right to dictate to any individual what he or she should or should not do to their bodies. This is one reason why I support the federal legalization of marijuana as well as hemp farming. I also support legalizing and taxing marijuana for all persons over the age of 21, and a gradual controlled withdrawal from the failed War on Drugs and the ending of incarceration of nonviolent drug offenders. (Fact: Colorado: First month of legal marijuana sales yields $3.5 million in taxes and fees. Imagine the revenue going to state, not federally controlled, school programs).
Tax revenue generated from the legalization of Marijuana for recreational use would give us the ability to fund our local school programs and at the same time cut property taxes significantly.
I am a strong defender of the Constitution and will not waiver from my beliefs. At the conclusion of the Constitutional Convention, Benjamin Franklin was asked, “What have you wrought?” He answered, “…a Republic, if you can keep it.”
I am against mass surveillance, The Patriot Act, the NDAA, and all other violations to our Bill of Rights. (I would support a bill to reaffirm Montana citizens’ 4th amendment rights.)
I do not support the U.S. War Machine.
I will defend the right of self-defense by protecting our 2nd amendment right to keep and bear arms.
