Chavez spin – Chavez-Ahmadinejad two step

I scan Al Bore’s internets daily, probably at a cost to my mental health.  This week leftovers have been furiously defending socialist plutocrat and fascist thug Hugo Chavez in yahoo and google groups.  He fed a hungry child once in between beating and raping opponents, driving rival parties out of the country and censoring the news media, so he is A OK!

But some leftovers have descended farther into their religion’s fantasies.  When confronted with Iranian kook Ahmadinejad’s prediction that Chavez will arise from the dead and return to us with Jesus, they have begun to defend the nuclear tipped anti-Semite as well:

 

LMTO–Ahmadinejad is something else.  I really believe he says things just to get a rise out of people.

Hopefully he is more intelligent then he sounds. He does however have his good points.  He still

lives in the same house he grew up in, Walks to work–and at least before 2009 (when I read his

biography) had no guards protecting him.  Dresses like a character out of West Side Story. and

had his same old gang of friends. I enjoyed reading that book, I am not sure how much was

fact or fiction.———————Nan

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has predicted that Hugo Chavez would be resurrected along with Jesus and a sacred Muslim prophet.

“I have no doubt he will come again along with all the righteous people and the Prophet Jesus and the only successor of the righteous generation, the perfect human,” Ahmadinejad said in a statement released in Persian on the president’s official website Wednesday, the New York Times reported.

The “perfect human” refers to the Hidden Imam, who Shiite Muslims believe disappeared in the ninth century but expect to re-emerge.

Ahmadinejad also stood behind Vice President Nicolas Maduro’s allegation that Venezuela‘s “enemies” were somehow responsible for infecting Chavez with the cancer that killed him, Agence France-Presse reported.

Wednesday was declared a national day of mourning in Iran as well, according to AFP.
